Your shoulder got 70% better.
Then it stopped.
A fully customized 4-month shoulder rehab and strength program for active adults, built by a kinesiologist after he assesses your shoulder in person, not after a five-minute phone call.
You did the physio. You still can't do the thing.
You were discharged from physio with a sheet of exercises and no idea what comes next.
It's fine day to day, until you press overhead, reach behind you, or sleep on that side.
You've stopped training the upper body entirely because you're not sure what's safe.
It's been six months. Or two years. And you've quietly accepted this is just how it is now.
Assessed. Phased. Coached.
Assessed, not guessed
Every program starts with 75 to 90 minutes in person. Movement screen, injury phase and goals. Nothing is prescribed before your shoulder is seen.
Phased, not random
Three phases over 4 months: restore, rebuild, return. Loading progresses weekly against where your injury actually is, not against a generic template.
Coached, not emailed
A live check-in every week, an in-person session every month, and ongoing support in between. Send a clip of anything that felt off and get your form corrected. That's the whole point.
Four steps. The first one is yours.
Apply

Video demos & tracking
Every exercise filmed and cued, with a running record of what you lifted and what changed.
Ongoing support
Text, WhatsApp or email for brief questions between sessions, including a clip of anything that felt off or when something flares up and the plan needs to change.
Real shoulders. Real progress.
He has also helped me work through my shoulder and rotator cuff issues. His shoulder rebuild program has helped me improve my strength, movement, and stability while working safely within my physical limitations. What stands out most about Kevin is how much he genuinely cares.
Shoulder and rotator cuff: strength, movement, stability
When I suffered a serious left shoulder/rotator cuff injury in October 2025, I already knew I was in good hands with Kevin, as he had already helped me rehab my long time right side rotator cuff from being almost completely useless to almost strengthened normal use. The left side is really close to normal now. Kevin knows his stuff. I highly recommend Kevin Hirose and his effective methods.
Right rotator cuff rebuilt, left shoulder close to normal
Kevin Hirose, BSc Kinesiology
I spent more than fifteen years watching the same thing happen. Someone hurts a shoulder, does their physio, gets most of the way back, and then falls off a cliff. No one owns the part between "cleared to exercise" and "trusting it under load."
That gap is the whole reason Rebuilt To Move exists. I assess your shoulder myself, build the program around what I find, and coach you through it for four months until you can do the thing you stopped doing.

The questions everyone asks
Is this physiotherapy?
No. Kevin is a kinesiologist and strength coach. The program picks up where physio ends, restoring capacity and loading the shoulder progressively so it holds up under real work. If you are still seeing a physiotherapist or another health professional, Kevin can work in coordination with them.
Who is the Shoulder Rebuild designed for?
People who have had a shoulder injury and can't fully rehab it to their needs or goals, often cycling through physio, re-injury, physio. Kevin works with rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, and shoulder dislocation or subluxation.
How often do I need to train?
Most clients will complete their shoulder program three times a week. Your exact frequency will be individualized based on your goals, training schedule, shoulder capacity, and the demands of your rehabilitation.
Do I need a gym?
Not necessarily. A well-equipped home gym works. In-person sessions happen at Kevin's training studio in St. Albert, at the gym of your preference, or in your home gym.
Do I have to commit to all four months?
No, but there is a fee for early cancellation. If an injury or long-term illness keeps you out for an extended period, the program can be put on hold.
